Qwil is an independent contractor payment and liquidity platform. We allow companies to easily manage their independent contractor workforce and streamline payments to over 200 countries. How do I access Qwil via the TriNet portal?
Single sign on through TriNet is now live! Simply click the "Contractor Payments" link in your TriNet dashboard here and you will be taken directly to Qwil. Qwil will need to collect brief banking and compliance information to get your account up and running. Once complete, we'll have your account live within 2-3 business days at the most.
You will receive a Welcome Email directly from Qwil once your company account has been activated.
Please note that TriNet will need to review your company information to confirm your eligibility for using Qwil through TriNet. TriNet may require additional steps to confirm eligibility. In the event that your company is ineligible, you can still take advantage of TriNet’s preferred rate to pay your independent contractors by accessing Qwil directly.
What is the preferred rate for using Qwil as a TriNet customer?
The preferred rate for TriNet customers is simply $0.50 per active contractor in the U.S. per pay cycle and $5 per international contractor per pay cycle. This includes everything - onboarding, payments, annual 1099 filing, etc.
How do I access Qwil directly?
Once your account has been activated, you can also access Qwil directly at https://app.qwil.co/login. Please select the Forgot Password link on the bottom of the login screen to create a password and you will be all set to access Qwil directly.
How does my pay cycle impact when my contractors will get paid?
By default, your company account is set to a weekly pay cycle, running from Monday to Sunday before midnight. This means that all payments entered into Qwil during the period will be added up and debited from your account every Monday. We expect that your contractors will receive their payments 1-2 business days after the funds settle from your account depending on their bank and country. How do I add contractors and payments to Qwil?

How do my contractors sign up for Qwil?
When you add contractors to Qwil, they will receive an invite email from Qwil with a link to complete our sign up process. We collect all of the personal and tax information from your contractors directly so there is no burden on your company! All we need from you in order to add contractors to Qwil is their individual or business name and emails.
What payment methods does Qwil support for my contractors?
Contractors can get paid via global direct deposit to their bank account, PayPal or our prepaid debit card. Your contractors will select their preferred payment method when signing up for Qwil and can change this at any time directly from their Qwil dashboard.
Does Qwil file 1099s?
Yes, Qwil files 1099s for our clients and their contractors at the end of the year. There is no additional cost for this service.
